During the October school board meeting, a financial collaboration program was approved for employees. Your Money Line (YML) is a tool that WCS is implementing for employees’ financial wellness. This is for all certified and classified employees.
YML is a group of financial professionals committed to helping WCS employees improve their financial lives, no matter what stage of life they are in. Some of the program aspects are budgeting, planning for getting out of student loan and credit card debt, housing and transportation decision-making, helping employees plan for retirement, and many more.
Dr. David Hoffert, Superintendent of Warsaw Community Schools shared, “In recent years, WCS has focused on many ways to support our local educators and support staff. Through a detailed focus on salary and benefits, WCS has become an industry leader in Northern Indiana. These advancements have included pay increases for all employees, WCS childcare, an employee health clinic, scholarships for advanced degrees, and wellness programs. Your Money Line gives employees special access to financial health and planning resources. These resources will assist in employee wellness and overall financial planning for the future.”
